Author Profile

Zhang Liying, PhD in logic from Peking University, a visiting scholar at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and the University of Pittsburgh in the United States. She is currently a professor at the Central University of Finance and Economics, a young Ryoma scholar, and the vice president of the Beijing Logic Society. She engaged in the teaching and research work of logic all the year round. Her personal book "Research on General Sentence Reasoning” has won the "Beijing 14th Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award". The works that are translated by her include "Crazy Russell - A Fantastic Journey of Logic and Mathematics" and "Is This a Fact? - Evaluating Statistical Data and Scientific Information Using Critical Thinking”, etc.
