On the morning of April 20th, the Opening Ceremony of Duxiu Bookstore at the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University and the 2022 Sino-Vietnamese Cultural Experience Event were held simultaneously at both the Chinese venue (Duxiu Bookstore - Guilin Flagship Store) and the Vietnamese venue (Confucius Institute at Hanoi University). This marks the opening of Duxiu Bookstore at the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University, which is jointly built by Hanoi University, Guangxi Normal University and the Group.

At the Chinese venue, LUO Yaoguang, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Guangxi Department of Education, attended the opening ceremony online. SU Guifa, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guangxi Normal University, HUANG Xuanzhuang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, RONG Gang, General Manager of Guangxi Duxiu Bookstores Books Co.,Ltd. and other leaders and guests were invited to attend the meeting. At the Vietnamese venue, Nguyen Thi Jufang, Vice President of Hanoi University, DU Qingyun, Dean of the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.

At the Vietnamese venue, Nguyen Thi Jufang expressed her recognition of Duxiu Bookstore at the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University. She said: "this bookstore is another important achievement of the international cooperation and exchange between Hanoi University and Guangxi Normal University and Guangxi Normal University Press Group. It provides a platform for our teachers and students to learn and exchange, and will become a new landmark in the cultural life of our university. I believe it will warm the whole university." Her speech was transmitted to Duxiu Bookstore - Guilin Flagship Store in real time, and the leaders and guests of both sides witnessed this exciting moment.

At 9:30 a.m. (Vietnam time), Nguyen Thi Jufang, Nguyen Thi Moli, DU Qingyun and LUO Jun inaugurated the Duxiu Bookstore at the Vietnamese venue; at 11:30 a.m. (Beijing time), SU Guifa, LI Dongmei, HUANG Xuanzhuang, TANG Wenhui, HUANG Yu and RONG Gang jointly pressed the starting ball at the stage center of Duxiu Bookstore - Guilin Flagship. The two venues were linked together to jointly inaugurate the Bookstore, marking the official opening of the first Duxiu Bookstore overseas. In the future, China and Vietnam will jointly hold cultural exchange activities online and offline to further strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries and promote in-depth cooperation in cultural and other fields, thus contributing to exchange and mutual learning of Chinese and Vietnamese cultures and consolidating Sino-Vietnamese friendship.
