The 2021 International Publishing Forum was held in Beijing in the afternoon of September 16th. HUANG Xuanzhuang made a keynote speech entitled Building a Bridge of International Communication with Art Design. He believes that the "going global" of Chinese publishing has become the basic consensus and strategic choice of the Chinese publishing industry. In recent years, Chinese publishing institutions have stepped up their pace to go abroad, expand the international market, practice and explore the international publishing and communication of Chinese culture, and have made great achievements. In recent years, the Group has rapidly built a more mature and complete international publishing industry chain through two overseas acquisitions and locations in several countries, and its international influence has gradually increased. According to the 10-year statistics of the "Research Report on the Influence of Overseas Collection of Chinese Books", the Group has nearly 3,000 kinds of books collected by overseas libraries, ranking among the top 20 publishing houses in the list of the influence of overseas collection of Chinese books for eight consecutive years, and ranking 12th among the 41 publishing houses that have been selected into the list of the top 100 publishing houses for ten consecutive years, becoming one of the most famous publishing houses in China that took the lead in “going global”.
"The 'Art Bridge' platform originates from publishing, but not just publishing.” HUANG Xuanzhuang said that after five years of experience accumulation and efforts, the Group has gradually achieved resource integration, derivative development and cross-border transformation, and has become an international cross-border cultural and artistic exchange platform that attracts the attention of professionals around the world. Through the launch of boutique publications such as "Design Library" and "Annual Series" of "Art Bridge", the Group has been recognized by the international market, and has acted as an agent for the copyright business of art and design books of more than 200 world-renowned publishing houses, as well as more than 100 copyrights of Chinese art and design books. By creating an offline compound aesthetic "Art Bridge Space", the Group has built a cross-border interaction platform integrating art stores, art bookstores and galleries, conducted in-depth research in the aspects of financial development and industrial transformation and upgrading, and promoted and led the international communication of Chinese culture.
HUANG Xuanzhuang also pointed out that the international communication of Chinese publishing is still a systematic, long-term and comprehensive project.
