On July 24th, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary's important speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Group held the "Wangdao Publishing Forum 2021" in Beijing. LONG Xinmin, member of the Advisory Committee of the Central Committee on Marxist Theoretical Research and Construction Engineering, former executive deputy director of the CCCPC History Research Office, and former executive vice president of CPC History Society, NIE Zhenning, chairman of Taofen Foundation and vice chairman of China Publishing Association, DENG Chundong, member of CPPCC, vice president of China Policy Science Research Association, former party secretary and president of the Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, ZHENG Dexing, former deputy secretary-general of the Literature Research Office of CCCPC and former president of the Central Literature Publishing House, and more than 40 experts and scholars from the field of research, publication and dissemination of historical materials of revolutionary documents in China attended the meeting to discuss the collection, research, collation, dissemination and publication of historical materials of revolutionary documents.

HUANG Xuanzhuang said that at the great historical node of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the starting point of the new journey of forging ahead into a modern country, it is the lofty mission given to publishers by the times to do a good job in carrying forward, inheriting, publishing and disseminating revolutionary culture and make new achievements in the new era. We are honored to hold Wangdao Publishing Forum with academic experts . It is not only a concrete measure to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary's important speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, but also a tribute to CHEN Wangdao, the translator of the first full Chinese translation of the Communist Manifesto, to draw strength from carrying forward the glorious tradition, to explore a new path for the collection, research, collation, publication and dissemination of revolutionary documents in the new era, and to create a new chapter in the continuation of the communist legacy.

During the forum, the Group held a theme publishing boutique book fair at the same time, and exhibited dozens of theme publishing books such as Collection of Historical Documents on Xiangjiang Campaign, National Governance under Great Changes: China's National System Development and Strategic Thinking, Vicissitudes of Life, Cultural Guangxi, Initial Heart, Glory on the Cloud, Folk Memory of Xiangjiang Campaign, From Beiping to Yan'an and Tianlu March 1950.

The Forum also focused on the compilation and publication of the series Collation and Research of Historical Materials Founded by the CPC, a key theme publishing project of the Group, which sparked much debate among the participating scholars.
