From April 23rd to 24th, 2022, the international academic conference "Confucian Classics in Vietnam and East Asia: Heritage and Value" was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was hosted by Guangxi Normal University, the Group and its subsidiary —— Guangxi Duxiu Bookstores Books Co., Ltd., together with the organizers including the Institute of Philosophy of Vietnam Academy of Social Science and the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University. It is also the first large-scale international conference hosted by Duxiu Bookstore at the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University, the first Duxiu Bookstore established overseas by the Group.

During the epidemic, the academic conference was held online and offline. More than 20 experts from China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and other countries attended the conference, presenting their latest research findings and discussing various topics of interest in the field.

After the conference, 16 papers will be selected from the results of the conference and published simultaneously in China and Vietnam, so as to promote exchange and mutual learning of Chinese and Vietnamese cultures.
