GXNU Press Group has won thousands of awards at all levels, among which, more than 20 kinds of books have been awarded the Best Works Award, Chinese Government Award for Publishing, Chinese Outstanding Publication Award and other national book awards, and nearly 10 kinds of books were awarded “Best Book Design from all over the World”and “The Beauty of books in China”.

GXNU Press Group has been awarded as advanced group of college teaching materials management in China by the State Education Commission (Ministry of Education) , advanced university publishing press, good publishing press, and advance publishing unit by the General Administration of Press and Publication. It has also been selected as the Key Enterprises in National Cultural Export for four times, and ranked among the top 20 influential overseas collections of Chinese books for eight consecutive years.

In the comprehensive evaluations organized by industry organizations in recent years, GXNU Press Group has continued to rank among the top ten university publishing houses in China in terms of comprehensive strength.

Books published by GXNU Press Group have also won many international awards. The Book of Limits (Le livre des limites) translated by Liu Nanqi won the 14th Fu Lei Translation and Publishing Award; The Dandelion Boy and Silk Road won Russia's "Image of the Book" International Illustration and Book Design Competition in 2022, and Technology and Civilization won the 2021 Asian Book Award.
